Fun-factor and swing guarantee

Our routes offer all kinds of challenges and those who want to play around will find opportunities to do so. As for the turn guarantee, it's not often we find such signs in Norway, but we've found them and made them available to you.

Hubriding means that, based at one of our hotels, you choose from among many defined driving routes that are located in the vicinity of the associated hotel. The routes we offer cover some of Norway's very best terrain and include tens of thousands of bends, spectacular mountain passes, asphalt, gravel, wonderful nature experiences and the opportunity to eat well at local establishments. In the routes, we have added sights and places to visit. You will be able to choose from several routes and route combinations that allow you to choose day trips of varying length and difficulty. The trails can be combined and built on as you wish. In other words, you can ride as much as you like on the surface and terrain you prefer.

We have developed the concept because we like motorcyclists as a guest group and to avoid the tedious transfers from hotel to hotel and boring, time-consuming transportation stages. You should simply be able to spend your time doing what you like best, just riding and enjoying Telemark and all the great things we have to offer. Not least the opportunity to return to a familiar and established base to enjoy the good life, our roof terrace, good food and drink and a staff that caters for you and your needs as a motorcyclist. Exciting to leave the hotel - good to come back.

In the route network, we have made sure that you can take in the most interesting sights in Norway. These places have been carefully selected by local bikers and hotel staff. Many of the sights are hidden gems and experiences that can only be experienced through Hubriding.

HUB-riding uses the app Ride with GPS app as a map and route base, and you as a cyclist can download the routes to your smartphone or GPS and see the number of kilometers, altitude, surface, etc.

Should anything happen to you, or your bike, along the way, we offer assistance as quickly as possible. In the event of a breakdown, our partners will be able to ensure that you can get a rental bike the very next day. We have made arrangements for washing, lubrication and drying if necessary. If necessary, call your Hubriding hotel for assistance.

The tours vary in length and difficulty. The hiking and mountain bike routes are shorter than the road tours, but can still have a long cycling time and something to fill the whole day with. Some of the tours are on relatively flat terrain, but many also have steeper climbs and challenging terrain, as is often the case in Norway. The map will indicate the length and number of meters of altitude, which gives a good indication of how easy or demanding the tour is.

The routes are mainly on gravel and asphalt, but may include paths so that we can offer a round trip. What is trail cycling for some is a rolling path for others.

We recommend mountain bikes with shock absorbers, or equivalent electric bikes. Some of the tours will take you on slightly longer trails. This will be stated in the route description so that you can adapt your equipment accordingly. Even more important than the type of bike is that you always wear a helmet!
