Kronen Gaard Hotel

Venerable Kronen Gaard Hotel

Rogaland not only offers steep mountainsides and winding roads through the Lysefjord to experience national icons such as Pulpit Rock & Kjerag. The region also offers legendary Route 13 and a Ryfylke region with many great driving experiences. In addition, rugged Jæren, which also includes the national tourist route Nordsjøvegen, offers many fantastic adventures. Not to mention the coastal districts of Haugalandet and Dalane, which offer small gems of unique coastal culture.

Kronen Gaard Hotel is a different, cozy and intimate hotel. The main house in Swiss style was built in 1898 by timber merchant Gabriel Block Watne for use as a summer residence. The farm gradually became a favorite gathering place for family and friends, known for good food and great social activity. This laid the foundation for the cozy and informal atmosphere that still reigns over the place. The kitchen at Kronen Gaard Hotell is widely known for its honest approach to food, with ingredients from local suppliers. The nature and surroundings are in beautiful spring bloom from April until the fall colors in September. The beautiful beech tree on the south side of the property is probably the oldest in Rogaland, planted in 1907.

Kronen Gaard, now part of HUBriding.no, has therefore developed five fantastic routes that make it possible to spend a week experiencing this region. The five Hubriding routes offer a collection of carefully selected driving and nature experiences you can only find in the region. The route network includes experiences of coast and sea, fjords and mountains, as well as hilly terrain through Norway's food bowl and the beautiful Jæren landscape. The HUBriding concept also provides services that motorcyclists value, including "Bikers welcome", washing facilities, drying facilities, secure parking and tool lending.

We offer experiences and impressions you will never forget!
