Fantastic
Bicycle routes

Hubriding is a concept where you stay in the hotel and enjoy new and exciting driving routes every single day.

Hiking and mountain biking from Nermo Hotel

The tours go in the mountain areas inwards from Hafjell starting from Nermo Hotel by bike or car to get to a suitable starting point. Nermo is a venerable hotel and part of the Historic Hotels and Restaurants. This means that you cycle in some of Norway's most beautiful and lightest mountain terrain. The trips will give you wonderful nature experiences and some opportunities to eat well along the route, preferably with a packed lunch. In some of the routes we have added suggestions for sights you can visit. To get off to a good start on some of the mountain hikes, we recommend that you take the car some distance from the hotel to reach a nice starting point. This is stated in the individual tour description. At the hotel there is both a 9-hole course and an 18-hole mini golf course with real grass.

Tour # 1: Hafjellrunden

Lots of nice gravel road, but also some varying quality of the surface and a couple of slightly demanding climbs
midway.

Trip # 2: Augseter - Hornsjø

Pleasant tour of Rognhaugen, Augseter and Hornsjø. Varied mountain and country landscape with fine
photo and rest stops.

Tour # 3: Hunderfossen - Fåberg

This is a family trip that takes you past or past the Norwegian Road Museum, Hunderfossen family park, a
the bob course and Lilleputthammer.

Trip # 4: The Mediterranean around and Birken-land

This is a trip that takes you into Birken-land with the famous Rosinbakken. Be aware that it is one
couple of trail stretches that can probably be experienced as demanding.

Trip # 5: Akkjsøsetra

This is a long and beautiful mountain hike a little north of the Hafjell area. It runs in hilly and varied terrain
past several pleasant mountain ramparts with Akksjøsetra as a highlight.

Hubriding
Bicycle from Nermo Hotel

NB! We recommend that each individual makes an individual assessment of their own skill level and training basis so that you choose routes that you can master.

The trips vary in length and degree of difficulty. The hiking and mountain biking routes are shorter than the road trips, but can still have a long cycling time and something you can fill the whole day with. Some of the trips are in relatively flat terrain, but many also have heavier climbs and challenging terrain as is often the case in Norway. The map base will indicate the length and number of altitude meters, which gives a good indication of how easy or demanding the trip is.

The routes are mainly on gravel and asphalt, but may have path sections so that we can offer a round trip. What for some is trail biking is for others a wheelbarrow trail .

We recommend mountain bikes with dampers, or equivalent electric bikes. Some of the tours will take you on slightly longer trails. This will be stated in the route description so that you can adapt the equipment accordingly. Even more important than the type of bike is that you always wear a helmet!

HUB-riding uses the app Ride with GPS (link to Appstore) as a map and route base and you as a cyclist can download the routes to a smartphone or GPS and there see the number of km, altitude meters, surface etc.

At Nermo it is good to be

Nermo Hotell is beautifully located in Hafjell, with a great view of Gudbrandsdalen. Here you live in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, with a focus on quality and comfort. Nermo is a traditional, family-run hotel. With a great location and a short way to Lillehammer, the hosts focus on personal service, unique rooms and food made from scratch. Hubriding
Fun-factor and swing guarantee

The grid offers all kinds of challenges and those who want to play will find opportunities for it. As for the turn guarantee, it is not often we find such signs in Norway, but we have found them and made them available to you.

Hubriding means that you, based on one of the Historic Hotels, choose from many defined driving routes located in the surrounding hotel. The routes we offer run in some of Norway's very best terrain and include tens of thousands of turns, spectacular mountain passes, asphalt, gravel, wonderful nature experiences and the opportunity to eat well at local establishments. In the routes we have added sights and restaurants you can visit. You will be able to choose between routes and route combinations that make it possible to choose day stages with varying length and degree of difficulty. The trails can be combined and built as you wish. In other words, you can drive as much as you can on the surface and in the terrain you like best.

We have developed the concept because we like the motorcyclist as a guest group and for you to avoid tedious moves from hotel to hotel and tedious transport stages that take time. You should simply be able to spend your time on what you like best, just drive and enjoy Norway and all the great things we have to offer. Not least the opportunity to return to a well-known and established base to enjoy the good life, good food and drink and a staff that makes good arrangements for you and your needs as a motorcyclist. Exciting to leave the hotel - good to come back.

In the route network, we have arranged for you to be able to see the most interesting sights in Norway. These places have been carefully selected by local motorcyclists and hotel staff. Many of the sights are hidden gems and experiences that can only be experienced through Hubriding.

Should something happen to you, or your bike, along the way, we offer assistance as soon as possible. In the event of a breakdown, our partners will be able to ensure that you can get a rental bike the very next day. We have arranged for washing, lubrication and drying if necessary. If necessary, call your Hubriding hotel for assistance.
