Nermo is a family-run hotel with a long tradition. For over 100 years, travelers have been coming here. Johannes Nermo is the fifth generation and is now carrying on the legacy.

Royalty, heads of state, executive groups and families alike appreciate Nermo's hospitality, home-cooked food and good beds. With 31 unique rooms, 2 "Drengestuer" and 53 rental apartments, Scandinavia's only 18-hole putting course and proximity to Hafjell and Lillehammer, Nermo is a great place to stay.

Our routes

Route 1: Peer Gynt rounds

A varied route that takes you around many of the finest roads on the western side of Gudbrandsdalen

Route 2: Imsdalsrunden

A route where you cross over from Gudbrandsdalen to Østerdalen and back

Route 3: Svinslåarunden

Nice afternoon or morning walk mostly on good gravel roads with little traffic

Route 1: Hafjell rounds

A lot of nice gravel road, but also somewhat varying quality of the surface and a couple of slightly demanding climbs

Route 2: Augseter - Hornsjø

Varied mountain and mountain pasture landscape with nice stops for photos and resting

Route 3: Hunderfossen - Fåberg

This is a family tour that takes you to the Norwegian Road Museum, Hunderfossen and Lilleputthammer

Route 4: Mellsjøen round and Birken-land

This is a tour that takes you into Birken-land with the famous Rosinbakken

Route 5: Akkjsøsetra

This is a long and beautiful hike just north of the Hafjell area

Hubriding means that, based at one of De Historiske Hotel, you choose from among many defined driving routes located in the area surrounding the hotel. The routes we offer cover some of Norway's very best terrain and include tens of thousands of bends, spectacular mountain passes, asphalt, gravel, wonderful nature experiences and the opportunity to eat well at local establishments. We've included sights and places to visit in the routes. You will be able to choose from a number of routes and route combinations that allow you to choose day trips of varying length and difficulty. The concept has been developed by Straand Hotel in Vrådal together with Norway's leading motorcycle enthusiasts
