This is a great mountain tour where you get to experience many good driving experiences along the way while this is the tour with the greatest opportunities for cultural replenishment.

The tour starts with two great museums in a row after driving the beautiful roads along Vråvatn, where there is plenty of room to enjoy yourself.
The first stop is Åmdals Verk Gruver and after only a short drive, we recommend a stop at Grimdalstunet to experience Anne Grimdalens artwork and beautiful sculptures.
She was considered one of our foremost sculptors in the 20th century.
After a solid cultural refill, the next focus is on good driving experiences via Bykle and towards the skiing gems of Hovden and Rauland.
The trip along Route 9 towards Hovden and on towards Haukeligrend offers many opportunities for great driving experiences, so just enjoy all the sensory impressions.
At both Hovden and Rauland, there are plenty of opportunities to grab a bite to eat or a pleasant coffee stop.
Finally, there’s the possibility of a final cultural stop, on the way to Dalen at Eidsborg you’ll pass the Vest-Telemark Museum, where a stop is recommended.
Have you tried the delicious sour cream porridge they serve?
After a lot of thin air at altitude, perhaps a dip or sauna at Soria Moria Sauna might be in order?
The finale of this tour is simply delightful, you’ll drive up to Skafså and continue along Vråvatn where the tour started.
With the sun at your back and loose on the terrace and afterdrive, this forms a great setting for the last few kilometers.
Drive wisely and be aware that the asphalt can be a little slippery in some parts along the lake.
