Lom is a fantastic starting point for day trips on a motorcycle, mainly west and south. Lom as a starting point is one of five towns in Norway that have national park village status. The pleasant town center environment has outdoor cafés, restaurants and shops, and is known for its well-designed buildings. Lom is a great place to explore culture and traditions combined with motorcycle tours over high mountains, along green glacial lakes and down to magical fjords. The tours are mostly on asphalt, but for those who wish, several of the tours can be arranged as gravel road stages.
