Price, competing with everything and everyone. And remember, your motorcycle doesn’t have to be big and expensive for you to experience great riding pleasure. In fact, riding pleasure can be inversely proportional to size and price.

Royal Enfield operates in the A2 class and is characterized by an environment that is creative and in every way inspiring for riders who love classic motorcycles. In the Adventure segment, they are praised for the new Himalian 450 model, which has been tested by many people under extremely demanding circumstances and the model receives rave reviews. The Royal Enfield team is young and market-oriented, simply brilliant at communication and masters all known communication channels and surfaces better than any other manufacturer. In other words, they reach their target group with great precision.

The model portfolio includes classic models, scramblers and lighter adventure models that are without exception good and fun to drive. All models are sober in terms of power, but very good in terms of torque and power. They’re not lightning fast, but they’re strong, fun, often have very good handling and are generally comfortable as well as being awesome. The bikes are pure image bombs, so if you want to ride in circles around the “main-stream” people, this is the thing. If you don’t need a brand to keep your image intact, then fuck it, choose a different track and ride Royal Enfiled. One of the world’s longest producing brands that has been around since 1901. The designers at Royal Enfiled should be award-winning with a consistently cool portfolio, but since motorcycle designers and the industry as a whole don’t get such awards, that’s probably not going to happen. We’ll leave it to us journalists to give style grades, so I’ll give at least 20 in style. In terms of price, it is without exception very competitive and matches all competitors. And when it comes to quality, don’t imagine that this is inferior to anything else.

On the website https://www.royalenfield.com/uk/en/home/ you will find a presentation of the entire
Royal Enfield world which includes cool presentations of the portfolio, matching driving equipment, apparel, tour and travel concepts and everything else you might need to become part of the cool Royal Enfiled culture.

I personally love a brand that is a little different, delivers a lot of image and driving pleasure.
Royal Enfield covers two main groups of drivers, namely new drivers who are entering the entry-level models in the A2 class, or the more experienced drivers who may want to move from heavier equipment and more expensive equipment to lighter models that are easier to handle on trips or in everyday life. Royal Enfield is undoubtedly one of the brands that delivers the most value and driving pleasure per dollar invested (provided you find your own favorite models in the desired segment).

What’s more, they’re cool, deliver great sound and have a great image that appeals to all age groups. In total, the brand has 15 models in its portfolio, so most people should find something they like. Perceived quality and driving characteristics are consistently very good and are not inferior to any other brand in the same segment and model type. For myself, I define quality as :

driving performance + reliability + driving experience
____________________________________________ =. Quality

Acquisition cost

Throughout its first five years in Norway, Royal Enfield has delivered very well and enjoys a good reputation and, not least, second-hand value. The challenge for the second-hand market is that there are almost no used Royal Enfield bikes for sale on Finn.no.

To find happiness, you often need to adjust your aim slightly

If you’re a powder junkie looking for power and speed, your sights may need to be adjusted a little. The A2 class and Royal Enfiled are about something else, namely good handling on authentic motorcycles, experiences, comfort and motorcycles that can handle a wide range of uses and really deliver on the joy of traveling and experiencing Norway or the rest of the world on two wheels. Completely stress-free but with plenty of feel-good, charm and image.

Unless you’re a performance-based specialist or powder junkie, have strong touring preferences that require a large load capacity for passenger and luggage and are going to be on the highway at high speeds, a motorcycle doesn’t have to weigh 300 kg and cost 300,000 or more. Absolutely not. Personally, I prefer lighter and stronger models, with good comfort and damping that I can ride everywhere. Personally, I find absolutely no joy in riding on large road systems at high speeds, I simply want the opposite and enjoy riding on small winding roads, preferably on firm and loose surfaces and in places where I can experience a lot.

For me, it’s NOT a point to cover as much ground as possible in the shortest possible time, quite the opposite. If I can bring a telescopic pole, packed lunch and a thermos, the joy and experience will be all the greater.

New scrambler models

Royal Enfield has delivered two new scrambleyr models during the year, namely the Guerrilla 450 and Bear 650, which will arrive in Norway in the spring. I haven’t ridden the latter but I’m more than happy with the Guerrilla 450, which outperforms in its segment and class, again at a more than competitive price.

The Bear 650 comes with its own story and is just as exciting. Both good all-round bikes that will challenge the competition in this class. You just have to know that they exist, and you have to dare to choose something different from the mainstream. You’re guaranteed not to be disappointed.

Note to self:

Royal Enfield models are thoroughly and rigorously tested and the manufacturer has taken quantum leaps forward in terms of weight, power, handling and quality and, for example, machining. They use well-known components such as ByBre and Showa and the balancing of the bikes is also very good. The model portfolio is large and interesting so you should consider this if you are planning a new transaction. Lazy Boyz at Alnabru is an importer and dealer and has many partners for aftermarket services throughout the country.

And for heaven’s sake, don’t fall into the image trap of thinking that this isn’t cool enough for you, that’s soooooo wrong. And remember, a good driver drives easily and efficiently regardless of what he or she is driving on.

Upside = high, risk = low.
