The Adventure School attracts a lot of people and the interest in learning is great

Globetrotter Kyrre Hagen had just returned from great driving experiences in Cambodia with photographer and partner Lenka Leginova and brought some fresh experiences with him to Sandefjord and Speed this Saturday. Kyrre is a very experienced adventure rider who, in addition to his freelance job as a motorcycle journalist, loves to discover the world on a motorcycle and preferably to as exotic destinations as possible. Kyrre spent several months in Australia and New Zealand in 2024, and his partner Lenka, who participated in parts of this trip, has also gradually built up a significant amount of experience from planning and implementing exotic projects. The MC people are keen to learn from such experience. More than 100 adventureenthusiasts found their way to speed this Saturday and eagerly listened to the message from Kyrre, who willingly shared many years of experience from the implementation of large and small projects. It’s exciting to listen to Kyrre, who makes the smaller, simpler and less costly projects sound just as exotic as the big and more ambitious ones. The Adventure School has developed its own curriculum and, through several seminars in the spring session, will review a number of topics that are necessary to realize plans and dreams. The next seminars will include navigation, field repairs, roadbook theory and practice and driving training. A separate curriculum has been developed that defines knowledge goals, skill goals and the necessary means to achieve these goals, definitely one of the most serious course and competence programs we have seen in the Norwegian context. The adventure school has recently launched its own website where news, curricula and material from the seminars will be made available. The next seminar, which will also be held at Speed’s home arena in Sandefjord, will take place on February 15 at 12:00 and will cover the topics of route planning and navigation. We assume that the interest in this topic will be even greater and will probably gather even more enthusiasts and new project planners.
