A milestone in MC Oslo’s history and a new flagship in the father dealer network

As of Monday, January 20, 2025, the address of MC Oslo is Hans Møller Gasmans vei 7

And it’s no wonder that Kim Harald Jøranli is smiling. This week, customers, and later the BMW club, had the opportunity to take a closer look at the new premises at Hans Møller Gasmanns vei 7. A total of about 5,000 square meters, on a hill at Vollebekk, with a fantastic view of Oslo, packed into modern, tailor-made and functionally designed premises that facilitate everything customers, employees and users of what we have to describe as a multi-purpose building may please.

Everything in America is big they say

MC Oslo’s relatively tough investment is partly changing the dealership landscape in eastern Norway, which now looks quite different. The initiative includes the opening of new premises for BMW and Honda at Vollebekk, a new Yamaha dealership in the old premises in Strømsveien and a new venture in Kobbervikdalen in Drammen in the old premises of Monsterbike, which was acquired in 2024. “We don’t know exactly which brands will be represented here, but we’ll probably get an overview in due course. All in all, the new ownership group will be a significant player in the bike dealer network in Eastern Norway. The new premises at Hans Møller Gasmanns vei 7 have been built according to all the rules of the art and tough requirements for the customer journey, customer experience, working environment and logistical flow have formed the basis for the elegant premises that you will be using from tomorrow, Monday, January 20.

Great expectations and ambitious goals

Major investments, high goals and new target groups create greater expectations and there is no doubt that MC Oslo is now facing a “tall order” where it must now deliver in several arenas. However, the legendary Kåre Vaskinn, in his time and over many decades, laid a very good foundation for the new ownership group that is now passing on the baton. Then, of course, the new owners will color this with their choices on their own basis and certainly with a revised strategy.

New process and logistics flow

The entire customer journey has been redesigned from arrival until you leave the premises with a new or old motorcycle. The building has been designed and arranged so that you as a customer can experience and get the best possible and imaginable customer journey and of course experience a high level of service. Among other things, the customer can look straight into the workshop and perhaps follow the work on their own bike from this side. A fun detail that we have previously seen at Porsche, among others. The fireplace in the waiting zone provides space for relaxation, work or conversations with like-minded people and is located in the middle of the large premises.

Arrangements have also been made for other interested parties to use the premises in the evenings for courses and other activities related to MC Oslo’s core business, such as theory courses for driving schools etc.

A destination with plenty of space and room for self-study and self-realization

The new premises offer plenty of space and it’s here that you can study all aspects of your next dream project. Time will tell if sales of new and used bikes will be so high that more space will be required and the premises will become more cramped, but for now that’s not a problem. We believe that MC Oslo will simply become a destination for both locals and visitors, and here many will be able to find peace and inspiration for both therapy and self-realization. Last week, many people found their way here and we don’t know if this will become the new Mecca for motorcyclists, but we do believe that pilgrimages will be made here.

NB: Parking, delivery and collection of bicycles takes place in the basement

Please note that arrival and parking will take you to a separate underground parking garage under the building. You drive down to the right of the building and use the elevator up to the store. Everything is well marked. You can park outside, but customers are encouraged to use the parking facilities. Outside the store there are great benches and seating arrangements to enjoy while you wait. The subway runs right past and makes it easy to get to and from if you need to leave your bike behind. Congratulations to Kim Harald and the team on a great new space and a smooth move.
