– The entire motorcycle industry has in one way or another participated in the development of the concept, which is now being greatly expanded in collaboration with De Historsike hotels and restaurants.
This winter, the chain has developed new HUBs in Trøndelag, Rogaland, Nordland, Vestland, Viken and Sogn og Fjordane, and new and exciting launches are now queuing up to be published on the HUBriding.no website in the coming weeks.
We really hope that this will be a great pleasure for us motorcyclists next summer,” says Lars Arne Straand.

Target group:

– Our target group is the ordinary motorcyclist who likes to go on rides, develop their own riding skills, seek out good riding and food experiences and share these with old and new friends.
The HUB-Riding concept is not and should not be a platform for extreme specialists.
Rather, this is a meeting arena for the ordinary rider who loves and cultivates their hobby within a relatively normal framework,” says Lars Arne, who is a keen motorcyclist himself.

New website launched:

– Last week, version 2 of the HUBriding.no website was launched.
Superlativ AS, our website developer and important partner, is doing a fantastic job, and this has really turned out well.
The new site includes offers for motorcycles, classic cars and pedal bikes.
The latter is a growing segment in the travel industry that fits very well into this initiative,” says Lars Arne, and he adds: – “We are very keen to create a good tourism product for motorcyclists and are constantly working to improve.

Social media strategy:

Katrine Straand explains that a dedicated Facebook page has been established to communicate with motorcyclists, and that they are now working on establishing an Instagram profile to communicate news and experiences.
– “The social media platforms are important to us, and we hope that as many people as possible will follow us here,” says Katrine.

New routes, new hotels in new regions are now being launched:

– The new edition of www.HUBriding.no now covers six counties and 11 hotels, and next week Kviknes Hotel in Sogn og Fjordanen will be launched with nine fantastic touring routes, including several of Norway’s most spectacular mountain passes and adventure routes.
“The twelfth concept is on the drawing board and will include a pure gravel segment, and we hope that this will be ready during the summer,” adds Lars Arne.

Project Geiranger – come to Geiranger, get to know us and see how we do this:

– Project Geiranger is one of our new and exciting projects that will be implemented and launched this spring.
We will combine the opening of Trollstigen and Geirangerveien with an “event” where anyone who wants to can come to Union Hotell Geiranger, get to know the HUB-Riding team and ride the routes with us for the five days we are there to do so. “We’ve created five great routes to be ridden with photoshoots and lots of fun, and we’d like as many people as possible to join us,” says Lars Arne.

– As we pr.
Today we don’t know when Geirangerveien and Trollstigen will open, we will keep everyone informed on HUBriding.no (under project Geiranger) and on social media,” says Monja Mjelva, host at Union Hotel Geiranger.
She continues: – “We hope that the opening of Trollstigen and the Geiranger road can become an annual event for motorcyclists,” she adds, welcoming all motorcyclists to Geiranger.

– “Based on what we’ve learned about the motorcycle segment so far, we hope that the further development of the HUB-Riding concept will be to our liking.
We’re constantly working to develop, and we’ll always strive to be even better,” promises Lars Arne Straand.
