Here is the contribution from Ole-Andreas Isdahl:

Yes, we love motorcycles – so what are the highlights of 2021?

We test riders and motorcycle journalists live a wonderful life.
We love motorcycles, technology and can spend hours, even days, sitting on motorcycle seats to ride, experience, analyze and communicate our passion for the two-wheeler.
This is what we live for, and nothing can take away the euphoric joy we experience when we get to ride a new machine.
We’re happy to measure our own curiosity and skills against anything on two wheels, and we love it.

When I’m sitting in the seat, I don’t feel the heat, cold, rain or wind, it’s all about being soft, finding the look, the flow, riding well, touching and feeling what the bike is telling me, it’s all about the relationship between man and machine and only that. It’s sensual and it’s wonderful.

Even though almost all the driving will take place in Norway this year, I have a lot to look forward to.
I myself will be driving the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin this year, and I’m really looking forward to it.
This machine is right at the forefront of the technology race and has an incredible amount to offer, so we’ll be dancing and rocking a lot together!

My test program includes Ducati Monster, Ducati Nightshift, new Multistrada V4, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, new Yamaha MT-09 and MT-09 SP, and it will be incredibly fun.
I’ll also be following the electric arena and helping to develop the touring part of the HUB-riding concept, which is referred to as “High-riding” with the hotel chain De Historiske.

“This year we’re also launching a new concept in Telemark called ‘Look and trade’, where we’re inviting the entire second-hand market on FINN.no to a weekend in Vrådal to buy and sell used bikes.
Hundreds of buyers and sellers will come to Straand hotel to enjoy themselves, buy and sell, it will be cool.

“I’m particularly looking forward to gravel and hiking in the mountains with my journalist colleagues to create a new series of podcasts on gravel and with tents.
On these trips, we will convey technology, experiences and the atmosphere we find in the Norwegian mountains, and we are really looking forward to it.

Perhaps one of the greatest joys for us motorcycle journalists is meeting all the enthusiasts we meet on the road, all those we learn from, discuss with and not least share our passion with.
The experiences on the motorcycles are many and varied, and we have taken a lot of Miller’s cod liver oil over the winter, so we have to convey them with empathy and not inconsiderable commitment.

In other words, a lot of fun – and not a day off until October!

See you and say hello along the way – and we’re off and running with the 2021 motorcycle season!
