Danish motorcycle tour in Telemark for the seventh year in a row

Dane Hans Tryk Espensen works in Norsjøen and found Telemark by pure chance eight years ago when he was on a course in Norway.
He thought he could combine this with a trip on a motorcycle.

He found Vrådal and Straand Hotel by chance and immediately fell in love with the region and its wonderful driving terrain.
Espen invited his friends from primary school the following year, and this is now the seventh year these friends have driven together in Telemark.

 

The equipment-conscious guys say that motorcycles are much more expensive in Denmark, but judging by the equipment, these guys go all in anyway.
Espen says that it’s very easy for Danes to come to Norway, and they simply love Straand and Telemark.

 

– Here we have good choice and variety, and we’ve grown very fond of the hosts at Straand Hotel.
Even though we’re getting to know Telemark well after seven years, we think the new HUBriding concept is really fun.
We’ll definitely be back next year,” says the group of friends from Aalborg who love Telemark.

Hubriding means that, based at one of De Historiske Hotel, you choose from many defined riding routes located in the area surrounding the hotel. The routes we offer go through some of Norway’s very best terrain and include tens of thousands of bends, spectacular mountain passes, asphalt, gravel, wonderful nature experiences and the opportunity to eat well at local establishments. We’ve included sights and eateries for you to visit in the routes.
You will be able to choose from a number of routes and route combinations that make it possible to choose daily stages of varying length and difficulty. The concept has been developed by Straand Hotel in Vrådal together with Norway’s leading motorcycle enthusiasts.
