It is recommended that the GPS is set to select the fastest route and any avoidance turned off for the route to be calculated as described.

This 40-kilometer round trip offers a medium-demanding experience, with around 700 vertical meters in total. The surface is made up of both asphalt and gravel, which gives a nice variation in the terrain. The tour is suitable for those who have a certain level of basic fitness and want a challenge without it being too hard.

The tour is based on accommodation/start at Granavollen and includes stops at Hadeland Folk Museum, Tingelstad Church and Røykenvik. In both Brandbu and Røykenvik there are opportunities for restaurants and shops. There’s plenty to experience at Granavollen in the summer: The sister churches are open for visits, Glasslåven welcomes visitors and Telthuset is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the history of Hadeland. Dinner options can be found at one of the 3 hotels located on Granavollen. Of course, you can also spend the night here.
