It is recommended that GPS is set to select the fastest route and any avoidance turned off in order for the route to be calculated as described.

On this tour, you will need transportation to the starting point at Grimdalstunet in Tokke. Make an appointment with the hotel for this. Here you start 630 meters above sea level and cycle through pleasant cultural landscapes and well-tended forest areas down to Vråvatnet lake, which is 250 meters above sea level!

Before you start your journey home, you should take the time to look at the old houses that give an authentic picture of the Telemarks-tun 3-400 years ago. You'll also find some of Anne Grimdalen's sculptures in the yard. Once inside, you can delve deeper into the artwork of Anne Grimdalen and others.

Along the western side of Vråvatnet, the road runs through a beautiful landscape and the water invites you to stop for lunch and swimming. At the very end of the tour, you cycle past the golf course in Vrådal, over one of the small locks, past the lock museum and back to the hotel.
