It is recommended that the GPS is set to select the fastest route and any avoidance turned off for the route to be calculated as described.

On this tour, you are dependent on transportation to the starting point at Grimdalstunet in Tokke.
Make an appointment with the hotel for this.
Here you start at 630 meters above sea level and cycle through pleasant cultural landscapes and well-kept forest areas down to Vråvatnet, which lies at 250 meters!

Before you start your journey home, you should take the time to look at the old houses, which provide an authentic picture of Telemark’s yard 3-400 years back in time.
In the courtyard you’ll also find some of Anne Grimdalen’s sculptures.
Once inside, you can delve deeper into Anne Grimdalen’s and others’ works of art.
Along the west side of Vråvatnet, the road runs through a beautiful landscape and the water invites you to stop for lunch and a swim.
Towards the end of the tour you cycle past the golf course in Vrådal, over one of the small locks, past the lock museum and back to the hotel.
