Fifteen minutes later you'll stop at Likholefossen where you can walk over the roaring waterfall.
You'll enjoy more spectacular scenery on the way down Gaularfjellet to Viksdalen before crossing Rørvikfjellet with its fantastic views of Haukedalen.
When you come down from Rørvikfjellet you drive along the beautiful Holsavatnet.
The route runs along the south side of Jølstravatnet and we recommend a stop at Astruptunet.
When you arrive in Fjærland, you can stop at Bøyabreen just after the tunnel and perhaps pay a visit to the Bremen Museum and possibly take a trip to Fjærland.
On the way up from Fjærland, we recommend that you stop at the Berge rest area with its fantastic views of Fjærland and Fjærlandsfjorden before continuing through Sogndalsdalen to Sogndal and driving along the Sognefjord back to Balestrand.
This is a wonderful day trip.

Click on the Send to Device link on the map on this page, when the app has started and you see the current route, press Navigate and then just follow the route.

We’ve included sights and eateries for you to visit in the routes.
You will be able to choose from a number of routes and route combinations that make it possible to choose daily stages of varying length and difficulty. The concept has been developed by Straand Hotel in Vrådal together with Norway’s leading motorcycle enthusiasts.
