Skykula is perhaps the most beautiful hike you can take in the region.
You’ll ride up to a real peak and enjoy both views and a beautiful and demanding climb.
You start off gently along the salmon river Tengs and Bjerkreimselva.
Then you cycle towards Ørsdalen in a beautiful valley and mountain landscape.
Here it rises steadily towards the top.
Skykula can be ridden to the top by both road bike and mountain bike.
If you want to make it all the way to the top, you’ll have to leave your road bike behind for the last 100 meters.
The tough climb offers an incredible reward at the top.
At 906 meters above sea level, Skykula is the highest peak between Ørsdalen and Gyadalen.
Here you have an unobstructed view in all directions and can see large parts of Rogaland.
Just look forward to some acid in your thighs and beautiful surroundings for your break at the top.
The return trip will also be more pleasant.
