It is also possible to make other variations of this.
For example, you can choose to take the Gjermundshavn-Årsneset ferry instead and make a detour to Rosendal.
Instead of driving directly between Eikelandsosen and Mundheim, you can turn off at Kilen and drive Sævereid, Baldersheim, Lygrepollen around Ølve to Gjermundshavn.
Either way - a beautiful route!
Continue on the E16 and stop for a coffee at Trengereid, before turning uphill towards Gullbotten to Bjørkheim in blissful Samnanger.
Enjoy the scenery along the Samnangerfjord all the way out to Eikelandsosen, over Holdhus and Kilen to Mundheim.
Continue along the west side of the Hardangerfjord to Tørrvikbygd, where you can enjoy the landscape before the ferry takes you on to Jondal, along the east side of the Hardangerfjord past Herand to Utne.
A historic gem in Hardanger.
Continue along the west side of the Sørfjord to the old industrial town of Odda, out along the east side of the Sørfjord past the fruit-growing village of Kinsarvik and on to the magnificent Hardager Bridge.
Enjoy the view as you cross the bridge and arrive in Ulvik.
Then round off with a trip over Ulvikfjellet and down to Granvinsvatnet lake.
Stop for a while in Skjervet before returning to Fleischer’s Hotel in Voss.

This primarily depends on whether you have a GPS installed, navigate by App on your mobile phone or prefer paper printing.
Here we describe the most common workflows:
Many of the routes on Hubriding use the app Ride with GPS app for route planning and navigation of the routes.
You can download a free version or pay for extended use.
Click on the Send to Device link on the map on this page, when the app has started and you see the current route, press Navigate and then just follow the route.
Hubriding means that, based at one of De Historiske Hotel, you choose from many defined riding routes located in the area surrounding the hotel. The routes we offer go through some of Norway’s very best terrain and include tens of thousands of bends, spectacular mountain passes, asphalt, gravel, wonderful nature experiences and the opportunity to eat well at local establishments. We’ve included sights and eateries for you to visit in the routes.
You will be able to choose from a number of routes and route combinations that make it possible to choose daily stages of varying length and difficulty. The concept has been developed by Straand Hotel in Vrådal together with Norway’s leading motorcycle enthusiasts.
