Vrådal/Telemark August 15, 2025 – This weekend, Straand Hotel in Vrådal hosted the annual meeting of the BMW MC Klubben – and what a weekend it was! More than 150 motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country made the trip to Telemark’s beautiful mountains and fjords for a weekend filled with spectacular rides, socializing and real motorcycle fun. The program offered guided tours through some of Norway’s most scenic motorcycle routes, including well-known stretches from the HubRiding concept that Straand Hotel has been the driving force behind developing. Participants experienced everything from winding mountain roads to idyllic villages, and many took the opportunity to test new routes and share experiences with like-minded people.

Great success for the BMW MC Klubben meeting at Straand Hotel. The 2025 annual meeting of the BMW MC club
was organized by the club’s branch in Buskerud, Telemark and Vestfold (BTV). Chairman of BTV and of the meeting, Sven Røsaker, is well acquainted with the motorcycle roads in Telemark and is delighted to show off the fairground roads to the country’s motorcycle friends.

In addition to the tours, professional events were organized, exhibition stands with news from BMW, and not least good meals in the hotel restaurant. Saturday evening was the highlight with a joint dinner, prize-giving, excellent entertainment and lively conversation until late in the evening – it is always a pleasure to welcome BMW MC Klubben to Vrådal. These are people who really value both driving experiences and good hospitality, and we appreciate the visit and the good cooperation we have with the club,” says Lars Arne Straand, host at Straand Hotel.

The BMW MC Club expressed great satisfaction with the event, and many have already indicated that they are looking forward to returning to Telemark to ride more motorcycles. There are lots of bends, fun roads on both gravel and asphalt. I have driven 2200 km to get here and a total of 4000 km on the trip.

“Yesterday I drove a 650 km day trip in Telemark and enjoyed every single bend,” says Asle Myrheim, who sat with a big grin under his helmet the whole way.Rolf Konrad Husby, head of the BMW motorcycle club, thinks the meeting was great and that Telemark is a bend paradise for motorcyclists.”You sit and smile the whole way, it’s absolutely magical,” concludes Rolf Konrad. Sven Røsaker adds that the organizer is very pleased and that it’s a lot of fun to showcase the motorcycle roads to the whole of Norway.Straand Hotel continues to invest in motorcycle tourism through the HubRiding concept, which now offers more than 20 pre-arranged motorcycle routes in the region – perfect for individuals, clubs and larger meetings.Further information:
