Route 7: Dramatic Telemark
It is recommended that GPS is set to select the fastest route and any avoidance turned off in order for the route to be calculated as described.
The trip from Vådal to Treungen offers a lovely warm-up lap in the summer sun along Nisser.
Once down at Treungen, we recommend a stand at the Z museum, which offers autophilic nostalgia and childhood memories. From here, the tour goes through wonderful curves down to Gjøvdal where you take off towards Fyresdal, an absolutely wonderful motorcycle terrain with hundreds of festive turns up to Nesvatn and further down to Fyresdal. We recommend eating at the bakery in Åmli or in Fyresdal. From Fyresdal to Vrådal, the tour first goes via a series of delightful sweepers to Vråliosen and then the grand finale along Vråvatn back to the hotel.

This depends primarily on whether you have installed a GPS, navigate by App on your mobile phone or prefer paper printouts. Here we describe the most common workflows:
Many of the routes on Hubriding use the app Ride with GPS app for route planning and navigation of the routes. You can download this as a free version or pay for extended use. Click on the Send to Device link on the map on this page, when the app has started and you see the current route, click Navigate and then just follow the route.
Hubriding means that, based at one of De Historiske Hotel, you choose from among many defined driving routes located in the area surrounding the hotel. The routes we offer cover some of Norway's very best terrain and include tens of thousands of bends, spectacular mountain passes, asphalt, gravel, wonderful nature experiences and the opportunity to eat well at local establishments. We've included sights and places to visit in the routes. You will be able to choose from a number of routes and route combinations that allow you to choose day trips of varying length and difficulty.
