The Historical Tourist Adventure at Brakanes Hotel was started in 1860 by Sjur, who ran a local shuttle station that provided transportation of both people and goods. Today's building was completed in 1949 after it burned down during the war, and its history dates back to 1860. Enjoy the magnificent scenery from the hotel's garden or dream away in the apple orchards with a visit to the cider gardens at Frukt- og siderruta. Experience one of many driving experiences in the surrounding area.

Brakanes Hotel is beautifully located by the fjord, about 35 minutes drive from Voss, or 2 hours and 20 minutes from Bergen.
