More than 60 bikes, 15 dealers and importers exhibit models for test rides

August 30, 2022 - Everything is now ready for Straand Treffet 2022. More than 60 motorcycles, 15 dealers and importers will exhibit their new models for test rides on the weekend of September 16-18. This is the 5th time Straand Treffet is held with a focus on a professional program with lectures on Friday evening, test rides and award ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday.

Between 1,500 and 2,000 motorcyclists are expected to visit during the Straand Treffet weekend this year. - "This year we will also have a professional program with a focus on driver development as the most important topic. This is natural when we know that the work to achieve the goals of Vision Zero is so central to all the important motorcycle organizations, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and the police," says Trond Olsen, who is the event manager for Straand Treffet. The exhibition area has been expanded this year to provide additional space for exhibitors.

- Straand Treffet was first held in 2018 and has since developed into the country's largest motorcycle event with a focus on showcasing new, modern motorcycle models. This year, it looks like we will be visited by more than 15 dealers and importers. They will bring over 60 motorcycles that you can try out throughout the weekend," says Trond Olsen. Friday we start at 17.00 with socializing, then professional lectures until 20.00 before dinner. Then there will be test rides and professional presentations at the meeting place outside the hotel on Saturday and Sunday. There will also be Hubriding.no driving during the weekend. Both collectively and individually for motorcycle enthusiasts who visit the event.

- A number of players will also be present with their buses and trucks. Among others, KTM, Harley Davidson and BMW have announced that they will be bringing their branded trailers," says Trond Olsen. According to our overview, it currently looks like these brands will be represented at this year's Straand Treff. Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Husqvarna, Indian, Kawasaki, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Suzuki, Triumph, Indian, Royal Enfield and Yamaha.
