We are now in the middle of Happy Hour with accompanying taffeta music. Next on the program is a lecture with Isle of Man driver Erik Kjus. This year's Straand meeting is finally underway!

Unlike last year's opening day, this year's Straand event is fortunately blessed with fine Friday weather. It's great to see so many happy and festive motorcyclists gathered in one place after great riding experiences up, down and over to Vrådal.
If you're not going to be here for the whole weekend, it's perfectly possible to come on a day trip tomorrow. There will be test drives of around 80 new models, as well as an enduro track and exciting lectures.
Come on, then!
Here are some pictures from the afternoon at Straand Hotel:

Cheers!
The ladies are coming! Around 65 bikes from the Women Riders World Relay are expected. Here, the first group has arrived to great cheers from everyone.

MC-avisa's gravel and rough terrain expert Kyrre Hagen arrives on somewhat unfamiliar equipment, but confirmed with a smile that it actually runs on the rear wheel. But only in first and second gear!
