September 20 – 22, it’s all happening at Straand.
For the seventh year in a row, the hotel, the Straand family and the Straand team, headed by meeting general Trond Olsen, have prepared everything for you to have a fantastic weekend.
This weekend, you can ride the latest models as much as you like, you can have a blast with new and old friends, you can completely relax and just be in the motorcycle bubble with like-minded people who share the interest and passion for motorcycles.
The timing is no coincidence and we have reviewed a total of 50 years of weather data to make sure that this particular weekend is the right one.
A lot of work has been put in by an enthusiastic group of people to get about 80 motorcycles, 18 dealers, a dozen exciting suppliers and interest organizations in place along with a festive program.
The program, hotel facilities, social framework, food and drink, contingency plans and cooperation with the emergency services are now in place so that everyone can ride safely and situations can be handled if they arise.
For the event administration, it is important to have a good relationship with the emergency services and although our visitors have never been involved in serious incidents, we have experienced incidents in our area during the event itself.
With the support of the emergency services, we do everything in our power to avoid incidents and we encourage everyone to drive wisely to and from and during the event.
Our goal is for everyone to have a good time, drive and experience things together and return home safely after the event.
Only then will we have succeeded. We’ve been looking forward to this weekend for a long time, and together with the emergency services and our partners, we’ll make sure that you can drive safely and are taken care of in the event of an accident.
But we must all take our share of the responsibility to ensure that everyone is safe on the road and we therefore encourage all visitors to drive wisely and without inconvenience to others.
Remember that we will only have succeeded if everyone not only has a good time, but also returns safely to their homes on Sunday evening.
Don’t forget to have fun, but drive wisely and act responsibly and carefully on the road,
