The magical power to weight ratio of 1:1 is crossed by a good margin

Road or track, it doesn’t matter, this material is made for the really fast and passionate drivers who want to cross the magical 1:1 limit of the power to weight ratio. The list of hefty capacities is as long as it is capable and this is not a machine for beginners. 210 hp and 113 Nm distributed over a weight of just 193 kg, this equipment pulls absolutely everything backwards in the seat. With M-Quick action throttle response and full power, you’ll certainly be keeping up with the times when you’re on board this weapon system, because that’s what it is.

Launched in 2009, the model has been through a long journey and a series of upgrades, and now appears much more sophisticated and refined. With such hefty capacities, you need both skills and driver support and the list of standard equipment is long:

  • EU5, Inline 4-cylinder with engine capacity of 999 cm3 and max output of 154 kW (210hp) / 112 nm.
  • Ready for reverse gear shift pattern
  • M Quick action throttle
  • Riding modes pro
  • Cast alu wheel
  • Aluminum tan
  • Anti hopping clutch
  • BMW ShiftCam
  • Chain drive
  • Race ABS partly-integral (Riding mode dependent)
  • AHSC Pro
  • DTC
  • MSR
  • DBC and DBL
  • USD Front and Rear strut suspension with adjustable rebound compression and spring reload
  • Steering stabilizer
  • M Chassis Kit
  • M Winglet
  • Rear seat cover
  • 6,5″ Colored TFT display with Connectivity
  • Immobilizer
  • Comfort turn indicator
  • LED lights
  • M Lightweight battery
  • USB port
  • Adjustable Clutch-/Handbrake lever

New highlights of the year are:

  • New design
  • New aerodynamic wings
  • M Quick action throttle
  • 210 horsepower
  • Slide control
  • Cruise control and heat sinks

You’re unlikely to need winglets on the street, but the new design is probably both useful and functional for maintaining contact with the asphalt at around 300 km/h. That’s when you really want your front wheel to have good contact with the ground when you apply the front brake to make a turn.

And “impeccable design”

The S 1000 RR has been given back its previously used shark fin design and otherwise has a wide range of details that you can just sit and enjoy from a low stool and without distractions.

Design and functionality are of course linked in the best BMW spirit and the journalist is particularly impressed by two small details. One is the cooling duct that directs air backwards to the brake caliper to ensure maximum cooling, and the other is the level of machining on the hefty swingarm with a fairly large recess to reduce weight. Hefty stuff that a connoisseur will really appreciate.

M-Style

Here, everything is in accordance with BMW’s M standard, where maximum attention is paid to performance and the interface between machine and driver. The driver’s skills are, of course, the X-factor in relation to limitations in this particular case, which can be described as a relationship between the beauty and the beast.

The rear end, which many will see the most of, is as sexy as the rest of the supercar, and a quick glance at the exhaust system tells us that this also seems to be able to breathe out the exhaust gases quite easily and ensure good combustion in the rather busy cylinders.

It’s packed with exciting details and you can read more about the fun on the BMW website https://www.bmw-motorrad.no/en/models/sport/s1000rr.html#/section-tailored-exactly-to-your-needs

What does it cost to realize your dream?

Yes In this particular case, a simple deal can look just like this, I tried to wire the amount there and then to MC Oslo, but the amount was unfortunately rejected!
