KTM 390 Adventure R and X – two super exciting new models this year

But if you want to get your hands on one of these, you really need to hurry, there are few coming to Norway this year.

The outgoing model of the 390 Adventure was good and has sold very well. The model was also very sensibly priced and contributed enough to boost sales of the A2 segment in 2024. But the model had some weaknesses and was probably not quite rigged for off-roaders, which KTM has changed. The new model comes in an X version, which is very off-road oriented, and an R version, which is a little more everyday and adapts to both road and off-road riding.

Both versions have 45 hp and approx. 39 Nm, but the X version is significantly higher in terms of both ground clearance and seat height, which is a full 88.5 cm, compared to the X version, which has a shorter damper travel, ground clearance and a seat height of just 82.5 cm.

The R version has a 19-inch front wheel, compared to the X’s 21 inches. Both have a nice weight of about 165 kg. In terms of price, it’s still very favorable, so this is going to create a LOT of driving pleasure. The problem, however, is that few bikes come to Norway and they arrive late. If you want to secure one of these, you’ll probably have to order within the next few weeks.

We recommend a visit to the KTM website to learn more about both models

Less is more is the name of the game, and you can’t ignore the fact that the discovery component will be greater with a smaller, lighter bike that you can do more with. Think about it.
