VOGE has a good range of models for the different customer groups
– VOGE is represented in the popular segments of the motorcycle market with five exciting motorcycle series at very attractive prices. These are Classic, Naked, Adventure, Offroad and the Light series,” says Erlend Lønnum, General Manager of LEKS Motor Oslo AS. “The VOGE bikes are a good addition to the so-called Japan/China motorcycle segment for those who want to buy an affordable motorcycle that is easy to handle, with modern technology and good driving characteristics. LEKS Motor Oslo AS will be centrally located in the car city at Rud in Bærum. The catchment area will be Oslo, Bærum and Asker as well as the InterCity area. The company has its central warehouse in Moss and Porsgrunn VOGE has one of the market’s best warranties with 5 years on all vehicles.

More brands over time
The plan for LEKS Motor AS is to offer customers most brands over time, both in terms of vehicle groups and equipment, and to be good at collaborating with other stores and players in and around the industry. First out are KTM, BRP and VOGE with their vehicles. The aim is for the store to open during the first half of 2024. – LEKS Motor Oslo’s strategy is based on the fact that the total market for motorcycles, ATVs/UTVs, jet skis and snowmobiles can become significantly larger in Norway. “If we can grow the overall market, all brands and dealers will benefit,” says Erlend Lønnum, who will be general manager of LEKS Motor AS. “As a new dealer in the Oslo area, we will also benefit. In order to achieve the desired market growth, a player must take a far greater grip on the market, with a focus on skills development, support for the work of achieving the goals of Vision Zero, focus on service, workshops, youth/recruitment, the older target group of new motorcycle drivers and, not least, women.

Inter-municipal companies, agriculture, aid organizations
– Furthermore, we will focus on offering Norwegian municipalities, the inter-municipal companies (IKS) in areas such as fire, waterworks, real estate, health, as well as the police and the armed forces a high level of service when we sell products or negotiate framework agreements related to our product groups in the future,” says Erlend Lønnum. “Similarly, we will work actively to provide good service to the agricultural industry organized in the Norwegian Farmers’ Union, Felleskjøpet and aid organizations such as the Norwegian Red Cross and Norwegian People’s Aid.

Want to connect with more brands
– “We’re starting out with KTM, BRP with Can-am and VOGE, but our goal is to establish a motorcycle center where customers can see a wide range of products. “Both of these have wanted to have a good store to offer their products in western Oslo,” says Erlend Lønnum. “We now hope that other brands and equipment suppliers will get in touch with us so that we can discuss ways of working together. LEKS Motor Oslo will continue to develop a good digital offering, including an online store, linked to the LEKS.no and LEKSmotor.no brands and domains. – “It’s also great that we’re now being contacted by mechanics and salespeople who know our product groups and are interested in working with us. We will focus on creating a good, exciting and engaging working environment. The interest in working with us bodes well,” says Erlend Lønnum.

Focus on the customer
– Our goal is to facilitate what will be one of the country’s most customer-friendly stores. We certainly won’t be the cheapest, but we will be the best at service. Focus on service, shared passion with customers, availability and opening hours will be our most important competitive advantage,” says Erlend Lønnum. Furthermore, we will actively support the zero vision unanimously adopted by the Norwegian Parliament. Both in terms of reducing the number of accidents, raising awareness and helping to create positive engagement around the upcoming electrification of the motorcycle, ATV/UTV, snowmobile and water scooter segment.
