By the end of Saturday, as many as 221 people had registered as test drivers.
As a result, the stands of the various dealers were almost empty throughout the day.
The bikes were only just dropped in to change riders, and to refuel…
There is little doubt that this is a positive initiative, and it is not unlikely that the dream of a new bike starts right here.

New to this year’s Straand event were Ducati and Harley-Davidson.
These were also some of the most popular bikes to test drive.
The Harley dealer from Vestfold brought four Pan America bikes.

A number of other awards were also handed out during the event.
We’ll come back to these in a separate article, but we can mention that “Surprise of the Year” went to Harley-Davidson Pan America, and that “People’s Favorite” went to Yamaha MT-07.
The jury for the awards consisted of a number of well-known people in the motorcycle industry, including MC magazine.

Even on Sunday, most of the bikes were in heavy use.

We would like to thank you for an extremely successful and well-executed Straand Treff.
More and more people have opened their eyes to this great event, which is set to become Norway’s most important meeting place for dealers, motorcyclists and various interest organizations.
In addition to being able to try out the bikes you want, you also have the opportunity to refresh your knowledge through great and inspiring lectures.

We’re already looking forward to next year.
