There was no shortage of ideas when yours truly planned some motorcycle stunts for the season together with Ole-Andreas and Peter (Calvat’s garage).
What we all wanted most was to organize a proper touring/adventure weekend, but on a scooter.
So thought, so done.

Joining us on the trip are the scooter trio Yamaha XMAX 300 Tech MAX, Honda Forza 350 and BMW C 400 GT.
Thanks to MC Oslo and Speed MC for the loan!

Straand Hotel in Vrådal has been used as a base for the scooter adventure, and it’s been a great opportunity for Peter and I to experience the HUBriding concept at Straand Hotel.
The hotel is basically still closed due to corona restrictions, but Lars Arne and the gang are in full swing planning the season opening in the second week of May.

In addition to MC-avisen’s frightened employees, both Reitwagen and Bikerlife have visited us this weekend, and we’ve had pleasant and long evenings together.

Good old-fashioned route planning with analog GPS!

The weekend’s route and terrain have been worthy of an adventure machine, and the fun factor has been off the scale.
The scooters have been put to the test in everything from active cornering to gravel play in the forest.
Of course, the machinery has its limitations, which places even higher demands on us as riders if maximum flow is to be achieved on board.
Soon it’s time for breakfast, before we do the last video recordings and set course for Speed MC in Sandefjord and then back to Oslo.

Stay tuned, both video and article from the trip are coming.

Thanks for the ride, guys!
I’ve had a great time, and I’m looking forward to today’s ride on the scooter trio.
