Early on Saturday morning, a group of motorcyclists headed up to Vrådel Panorama.
They were going to hang up the sun, and sure enough, it’s been hanging there all day.

Team HH, with stand-in Hole instead of Huseby, had each signed up for a ride with HUB-riding (a typical Telemark dialect word that makes sense if you’re from England).
The team had had to read up on this, and miraculously managed to sign up for each trip.
We were both stuffed to the gills after a hearty breakfast from the buffet in the dining room at Straand Hotel, where we had gorged ourselves greedily, but managed to swing our right leg over our iron horses as soon as the tour leader for each group was announced.

Hole had signed up for an all-asphalt tour that the organizer called Bandak around “Honda”.
Hagen had studied maps and terrain and found that the tour with the most gravel was no.
one, which was called Bandaksli “BMW”.
Hagen was therefore impressed when two of the participants rode Yamaha FJR 1300s and some huge Harley variant respectively.

ROUTE 4: MINI -TELEMARK – “HARLEY DAVIDSON”

ROUTE 5: THE THREE WATERS – “INDIAN”

ROUTE 6: DRAMATIC TELEMARK, LONG – “SUZUKI”

ROUTE 7: DRAMATIC TELEMARK – “KAWASAKI”

ROUTE 8: VALLEY TO VALLEY – “DUCATI”

ROUTE 9: VALLE TRACK TO LYSEBOTN “TRIUMPH”

ROUTE 10: TWO COUNTIES – “YAMAHA”

Hagen didn’t quite know how to get his entourage moving on the gravel roads, and came up with an excuse to go ahead and take photos.
After this, it took an hour before the rest of the group found him again at the gas station in Dalen.
In the meantime, the rest of the group had enjoyed a cup of coffee and a bun.
Hagen’s bun was also eaten with a clear conscience.
After a happy reunion, coffee, ice cream, soft drinks and baguettes were served on the pier in Kviteseid in the glorious weather.

Back at Straandtreffet, Terje Bredal from Speed Motorcenter in Sandefjord unveiled a new huge colossus of a BMW custom cruiser.
It was announced that this was BMW’s first custom, but that’s not true.
Many of us remember when Pierce Brosnan whizzed around in a custom BMW quite a few years ago.
Hagen didn’t quite understand the point of this bike, while Hole had stars in his eyes and wondered if he had room for bike number four in his garage.

In addition to this, on the second day of the meeting, there has also been a large professional program.
As people were enjoying the sun on the terrace outside Straand Hotel, the organizer had to move the professional part of the day out where the audience was.
If people don’t come to the event, the event has to come to the people.
The program was varied, and included a political debate, a captivating lecture from Trafikkforum and much more.

Briefly summarized: The meeting participants have enjoyed a lot of great driving and pleasant company in fantastic weather in the heart of Telemark today.
There have also been many day visitors.
