The new R 1300 R has its DNA from the R 1200 R which was a little more good-natured. I’ve driven the new one and boy what a ham shift. I don’t think I’ve ever driven anything as powerful and precise as this. Personally, I love the 149 Nm of torque from the modern boxer engine, which you won’t find on a four-cylinder engine, guaranteed.
So there’s a long list of capacities and characteristics to be mentioned, but if you want to read about it, you’ll have to go to the MC Oslo tester website, and everything will be there shortly. The R 1300 R is fierce but can be ridden by anyone, but if you ride it in Dynamic Pro you get an “instinct shot” of adrenaline and crazy power, it takes some experience and some skills to handle all this, but it’s really fun.
This is probably the angle you’ll see the most of.
