Good news for holidaymakers on two wheels

In early July, a driving and filming team traveled to southern Rigaland and Agder, specifically Egersund (Grand Hotel Egersund), Sogndalsstrand (cultural hotel located by the new track) and Flekkefjord (Grand Hotel Flekkefjord) to quality assure and film 9 new routes in this region. The 9 new routes, which are of very high quality in terms of turns, were also filmed with fast cars and motorcycles and this will soon be published on HUBriding.no. Photographer Simen had a lot of fun as both photographer and drone pilot and directed the day.

Your holiday plans are ready – just travel here

The new routes in this edition of Reginen are definitely guaranteed to turn and go through areas that offer great nature experiences and meaningless driving experiences for both motorcyclists and sports car enthusiasts. The routes are mostly on asphalt, but there are also some really great gravel routes that are of a character or level of difficulty that absolutely everyone will master with all types of bikes, i.e. high-quality gravel roads. But there are plenty of detours, so even a gravel specialist should be able to have a good time here.

This summer, the HUB-riding team has set up new routes in Skjolden in the innermost part of the parish fjord that are perhaps more suited to gravel/combined riders. There’s a lot more to choose from on that front, but Skjolden also has many spectacular asphalt routes, so here too there should be more than enough for everyone.

All routes, which now total almost 120 routes nationwide, can be found here https://hubriding.no/nyheter/, where you will also find the GPX files that you can download to your GPS so that you can find your way around the route you choose.

HUB riding is becoming a grassroots movement

HUB riding is a tourism concept that aims to facilitate and guide motorcyclists and sports car enthusiasts to the best of Norwegian riding terrain. The network of routes is now becoming so large and comprehensive that other holiday travelers use the website for inspiration to find activities and itineraries. The HUB riding concept also includes road cycling, mountain biking and mountain hiking for those seeking other types of experiences.

But now, according to the HUB riding team, as many as 20 new routes have been produced in southern Rogaland/Agder and in Skjolden at the bottom of the Sognefjord. The team has a larger production left at Brakanes Hotel in Ulvik and this will be produced in mid-August, so there will be more to come.

The movie will be available on this website shortly, stay tuned.
