Motorcenteret at Rud has started sales of QJ Motor

Erik Grondahl and the team at Motorcenteret have entered into a dealership agreement with importer Erlig Sande AS for the sale of QJ Motor in Bærum. QJ Motor is a Chinese brand that has been producing motorcycles for about 30 years and is no unknown player internationally. QJ Motor has one of the world’s largest portfolios with a total of about 90 series-produced models. Little Norway is a tiny player in the international market, so we often don’t get the attention of the manufacturers that are big on a global scale. QJ Motor only uses well-known components, such as Showa, Brembo and Marzocchi, and certainly delivers on quality. The large customer groups in Asia have a lot of long operating experience with the brand, so you don’t have to imagine that this is something completely inferior to the well-known brands we traditionally see here at home.

Erik and Motorcenteret have brought in bikes in all classes (A1, A2 and A) and here we find, among other things, the only lightweight two-cylinder motorcycle.

The SRV-12 is a small cruiser with a high level of comfort, and in this segment you can actually get a lightweight motorcycle from, brace yourself, NOK 37,000 and upwards. It’s guaranteed to make a splash in the market.

The SRK 125 is the naked option and the equipment list on all QJ Moteor models is exceptionally long and comprehensive. The touring models, available as 600, 700 and 900 cubic meters, come with heaters, a full bag set and a 7-inch TFT instrument, to name but a few. No one else delivers so much at such low prices. The Adventure model SRT 700 SX actually costs no more than SEK 129,000 and you can get the SRT 600 SX with the same setup for just SEK 94,000.

Will create great and renewed interest.

This and other Chinese brands are guaranteed to challenge the establishment in the Norwegian market and we believe that many people who have not found room to make purchases in the NOK 2-300,000 segment will now resume their interest or perhaps realize the dream of a motorcycle. As of today, Motorcenteret på Rud and Cross Centeret Snellingen sell this brand and we look forward to test driving these during the summer.

Right now, Erik and the team are hard at work assembling the new bikes, which will be ready for test rides in a few days’ time (note that the bikes in the picture have not yet had windscreens fitted).

Facts about QJ Motor:

So the numbers are clear, these are not to be associated with beginners, they possess a lot of expertise, have a considerable amount of operating experience and, in addition to this, undoubtedly have designers who know what they are doing. Chinese is undoubtedly part of the future, just as the Japanese were in the seventies, and perhaps the retailers that will set the tone in the future will have one or more Chinese brands. Let’s let politics be politics, at least that’s not what this editorial team is doing, we’re talking to motorcyclists, that’s it.

In the near future, we’ll be releasing our first test results and we’re really looking forward to it.

In the meantime, we wish both Motorcenter the best of luck with new and exciting opportunities that are sure to change the terrain in which they operate.
