It’s finally here, the Royal Enfield 650 Classic is a piece of jewellery and is now in the Lazy Boyz city tram
Many have waited a long time for this beauty that definitely belongs in the poser class, but expectations are higher than that. A closer look at the newcomer reveals a high level of comfort and buckets of feelgood in addition to the very elegant design, so this is sure to please.
We’ve had a lot of experience with the smaller 350 Classic model, which is very popular with many, but when the news broke that it was also going to be produced as a 650 model, there was a lot of excitement in the Royal Enfield camp. We’ve seen many pictures of this beauty, but when I saw it in person, it was both smaller and even more beautiful than originally thought.
The 648 cc twin-cylinder engine is air-cooled and produces 47 hp and 51.5 Nm. The engine sound is deep and has a balancing effect on body and soul. The seating position is absolutely beautiful with the steering columns pulled back towards the driver. Absolutely gorgeous and not least beautiful. The seat height is 80 cm and the kerb weight is 243 kg. The fuel tank holds 14.8 liters, and with a consumption of well under half a liter, you at least have a range of about 30 miles.
The instrument is mounted in the lantern just like on the 350 Classic but is slightly larger to match the proportions of the bike.
Even though this is a series-produced bike, it’s very reminiscent of good old-fashioned craftsmanship and we assume that this will be one of the summer’s big head-twisters.
Kitten is just like its little brother 350 on the front or simply just classic and cool.
The bike appears as a work of art where every detail can only be enjoyed, I simply don’t think I’ve seen such a beautiful series-produced motorcycle before!
The model comes in several beautiful color combinations so there will be something for everyone.
The details are many and I actually have to spend a little time to take it all in, but my goodness, this is so pretty. Much nicer than I expected actually.
The switch panel on the handlebars is chrome-plated and just looks amazing.
Even the seat cushion and seams are gorgeous and this is actually the first time we see the model with a rear seat fitted, personally I think it looks better than the single-seat version.
The bike is ready in the store and is ready for a test ride, We in the editorial team will have the pleasure of riding it as early as Tuesday and it will definitely be a day of celebration. We’ll report back as soon as we can. This is actually one of this year’s really big news and the price is actually no worse than 117,400, yes you actually read 117,400, that’s right.
