Norwegian roadracing 2025
Kawasaki Norway is proud to support road racing talent Kristian Østbye Sæby in this year’s season. The 21-year-old driver from Lørenskog will compete in both the Norwegian and Swedish championships with his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, and his ambition is clear – he will fight at the top.
Kristian already has an impressive track record, with victory in the Norwegian Cup in Junior Sport 300 and two solid seasons in the Supersport 600 class. Already in his debut season in the 600 class, he demonstrated his potential with a strong second place in the NM round at Våler. Now the goal is to fight for the NM title.
– “It will be an exciting and challenging season, but I feel well prepared. The support from Kawasaki means a lot, and gives me the best opportunities to be in the gold medal fight,” says Kristian Østbye Sæby.
The season kicks off with testing at the Cartagena circuit on April 12-15, before the Swedish championship opens at Anderstorp on May 24-25. The first round of the national championship will then take place at Rudskogen from May 30 to June 1.
Product Manager for Kawasaki in Norway, Emma Teigland, is looking forward to following Kristian through the season:
– “Kristian has shown that he’s a rider to be reckoned with, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can achieve. Supporting young, promising athletes is important to us at Kawasaki, and we look forward to following him in the fight for the top positions,” says Emma Teigland.
With Kristian on the starting line and an exciting season ahead, Kawasaki Norway is looking forward to a year of fast-paced racing and strong performances.
