AMD Motorcycles at Alnabru is one of the largest and finest dealerships we have in Oslo and leads the way with a huge Triumph portfolio in seven segments and these days you will find many good deals at the dealership in Verkseier Furulunds vei 10. The news for 2025 is soon on its way in, but so far you can make a very good deal on the 2024 models.
Image is everything
All the models in the classic segment are considered pure image pumps and are driven by drivers of all ages. A cool leather jacket, some slouchy kevlar pants, a half helmet with goggles and a cool shoulder bag, there’s hardly a cooler work or school outfit. Triumph’s classic segment has never been bigger or better and the new Scrambler 400 and 400 X have taken the market by storm this year and definitely boosted interest in the A2 class.
The 40 hp and 40 Nm charm delivers so much driving pleasure that even hard-driving A drivers will smile, the range is enormous and the Scrambler concept allows you to drive absolutely everywhere and it’s great fun. With fuel consumption of just 0.3 liters per mile, you get a lot of fun for your money. Triumph delivers mechanical precision on all its models and if you want more powder, you can get access to a 900 or 1200 cc driving machine at a reasonable price. Triumph engines have a wonderfully soft and smooth ride, a great throttle response and very good handling. The brakes are good, the frames are good and the swing arms certainly deliver what we need. If you’re a big and active rider, some of the models with two rear dampers can be upgraded with slightly better dampers, but for the vast majority it’s enough to tighten a few knobs until you eventually reach the maximum level. A good driver can undoubtedly match most people with these models, even though this segment is all about feel-good, driving pleasure, image and comfort.
Speed Twin 1200 is on offer these days Speed Twin 1200 is a classic and right now you can get it at a generous discount. This 1200 engine is one of the best journalists have ever ridden, and both image and sound are spot on. Next year’s model has been given a slightly more powerful engine to match EURO5+.

This model is probably one of the nicest things you can ride in this segment, and the engine’s smoothness and sound will soothe your soul. It’s pure therapy, so you should get this bike on prescription. The 1200 Scrambler series with XE and XC in the lead got a new sibling this year, namely the Scrambler 1200 X, which is slightly lower and is great for riders who are not so tall.

90 hp and 110 Nm is certainly enough powder to challenge both skills and road traffic laws and the model is very well priced. The model has good dampers and brakes, but is in some areas a little simpler than the XE and XC versions. But this is more than enough for most people. The classic portfolio is large and broad and can be easily personalized at a reasonable price. The technical environment at AMD is very good and solves most of what we need help with.

Triumph’s classic models stand out for their wide range of applications, powerful, smooth-running engines and high mechanical precision. This material is consistently reliable and doesn’t exactly represent a risk. Soon, as I said, the 2025 news will be coming in and there will be several exciting models in all segments. By all means, take a trip to one of Norway’s largest retailers and undergo some well-deserved therapy. Whether or not you end up making a purchase is probably not that important as long as you are inspired. It’s okay to dream.
