Perhaps a stop in Dale or a trip over the spectacular Dalsfjord Bridge?
From here, the tour continues to Sande.

The last 84 km is a national tourist route that starts along Viksdalsvatnet lake before climbing up to Gaularfjellet mountain.
A stop at Likholefossen waterfall is almost obligatory where you can walk over the roaring and impressive waterfall.
This day is full of turns and great experiences and you can make another stop at Utsikten before starting the steep section with winding roads down to the fjord and the road to Balestrand.
On arrival at Kviknes, you can really treat yourself to something cold to drink and really enjoy the view from the lovely garden with the beautiful view with old or new friends.

How can I navigate the route?

This primarily depends on whether you have a GPS installed, navigate by App on your mobile phone or prefer paper printing.
Here we describe the most common workflows:

  • Import the file to your route planning tool (e.g. Garmin’s Basecamp or Tom Tom’s MyDrive)
  • Export the route to your GPS in the usual way
  • Check that the route is calculated correctly in your GPS (It is recommended that the GPS is set to select the fastest route and any avoidance is turned off for the route to be calculated as described).
