This week, De Historiske Hotel og Spisesteder (DHHS) held its annual meeting at Sundvollen, and here the basis for a continuation and hard focus on the motorcycle segment was laid as part of the chain’s strategy, and this is very important.
The chain’s CEO Nils Henrik Geitle is a fantastic driving force behind this work, and he is taking a long-term view in his efforts, which now include HUBriding, Highriding and further development of the chain’s benefits app.
The Straandtreffet and this year’s launch of HUBriding.no have created a great deal of engagement, and motorcyclists definitely seem to love what Lars Arne and Katrine Straand have created in Telemark.
Hotel chain DHHS has been working with this segment for three years and is now stepping up.
More HUBriding routes will be built for several segments, and a new Highriding concept is also being launched, offering round trips and short breaks in the hotel chain’s realm.
The hotel chain is also in the process of establishing a cooperation agreement with MC Touring Norway headed by Terje Bredal, and this is likely to be a very valuable combination that will benefit motorcyclists.
Nestor Bredal knows and understands the motorcycle segment very well and has very valuable knowledge and experience as ballast.
Efforts to expand the concept have already begun in Rogaland, and next week Røros Hotel will start setting up routes for the gravel lovers.
The motorcyclist is a sought-after guest in this chain that does everything it can to accommodate two-wheelers.
Straand Hotel in Vrådal has also taken its place as a HUB in this context, and has established its own team to share knowledge and experience with the other hotels.
So next year, the work with HUBriding and Highriding will continue for the benefit of all of us who travel on two wheels and who are just a little bit interested in luxury and the good life!
